PLOX Assistant: web services at the twinkle of an eye

PLOX Plug-In requires several web services for loading data. With the aid of the newly developed assistant these services can be created and edited easily. No programming skills are needed.

Create a web service

To create a new web service the necessary database tables, procedures and functions can easily be chosen out of a list of existing objects and operations. The web service will then be created automatically.

Remove a web service

If a web service isn’t needed anymore it can either be deleted and thus entirely removed from the database or just be unregistered. Though it isn’t available anymore in that case, it’s still in the database.

Share settings

The Service Connection Assistant displays the settings of every particular web service. These settings (endpoint, path, etc.) can be passed on with the table and thus be used also by other users. No additional configuration file or registration is needed.
