Cost Planning

In-house cost estimates support planning and documentation of the technical details of implementing projects in construction and other industries.

Standardised bills of quantities help compute the costs to be expected for any given project. Every project is based on an itemised schedule of prices used to draw up a cost estimate.

This process is greatly facilitated by the Cost Planning application:

• A template is available to simplify generation. But items may be added, deleted or edited whenever needed.
• Frequently used combinations of items can be easily re-used by means of a so-called ‘formula’. A group of formulas unites similar formulas, such as those for bridge construction or laying cables.
• A special feature serves to change any given item or the entire cost estimate.
• Data files may be attached to the cost estimate.
